General Lee and Sun Tzu

I caught a little of what happened that Lee lost Gettysburg from the History Channel
by not follow Sun Tzu but after looking it seems like there are some of the maxims
General Lee did follow. So with all the maxims I am listing, take a look for
yourselves and you decide.

Just having briefly looking at the links you posted. I think one could argue he followed some, and did not follow others.

His troops were tried and tested, and loyal. They believed in him.

He did over extend his front, and did not have proper knowledge of the geography of the battle area.

IMHO.

Interesting comparisons, one could argue both ways on many.

I would guess if one wrote enough maxims they would surely be a winning writer.
