I remember that one. I believe that huge chaurus was specially made for that particular quest because I never encountered one that big again. It was a very difficult dungeon. I believe I ended up doing a "heal", "attack", "heal", "attack" cycle to kill them all. I'd take a shot then run back in the caverns and heal because it was too big to fit in the tunnels then come back out and attack again. Took a long time.
Couldn't you lure it to the entrance of a small cavern, and stand just inside (out of range of any attacks), shooting it with arrows/spells while it tries to fit inside? This is a tactic of mine for taking down giants at the Western Watchtower. Though, I go inside the tower instead of a cavern.

I did something similar, but being a summoner, I'd retreat into a narrow passage, summon a huge frost attronach who blocked the entrance and shoot my own spells from behind it, a tactic that saved my A* my quite a few times when outnumbered.
I underestimated the bug however, it attacked in tandem with a falmer, I did a simple fire-while-backpedal defense, the falmer went down but there just wasn't enough time before the cricket cornered and killed me.
Should have simply downed a few health potions but I was fairly confident it'd go down before I did
Anyone know if/when the dungeon will respawn ? I only cleared it partially, I'd hate to have to do it all again.

So I was gently trodding along, on my way to kill a giant, picking some grapes and snowberries along the way.
I had noticed the road was littered with corpses of wolf, fox and other assorted wildlife,
I remeber thinking "Something really big must be walking just in front of me, if it's killing all these critters.." , when I spot a dead bear in the lying in the middle of the road.
Unthinkingly I approach it, and just when I click to search the body, it rises, turns, and smacks me full in the face, taking about a third of my life.
I bumble backwards, hitting left, center and right all at the same time, to summon a frost attronach, activate my dragon skin and pop an invisibility potion,
All in vain, as bear smacks me two more times and I get a beautifull kill-cam zoom of my invisible dead body.
It was ten past twelve and about time to go to bed anyway.
I tend to judge games by the way they kill me - this one is really top class

If you've actually "cleared" the dungeon it will respawn, but it takes a long time in game days and I don't think any of special quest goodies will appear again. If you don't finish the dungeon or it is part of a quest that you're not actively working on all the dead creatures will be replaced in a couple weeks.

I'd like to see a Skyrim-like game (not necessarily even related to the TES universe) that's a medieval sort of Skyrim-esque theme, but you get to have your own city and castle, where you can spend money and such to improve it, and also take over other kingdoms and such. At least I'd like it to involve the part where you have your own town and such, like how it is in Assassin's Creed II. That was really cool, and I think it would be awesome in a game similar to Skyrim.
I think it'd be kind of cool to be able to loot armor and weapons from bandits, caves, etc and then hire guards/soldiers to equip them with the stuff. You could send them to attack places, or gather items (which you could also get yourself) which you could put into the town. Perhaps if you come across potions you don't need, you could hand them over/sell them to an alchemist or apothecary. Ideally, the town (and towns in general in the game) would have more life than in Skyrim. Perhaps an occasional brawl in a tavern or attempted criminal activity (like in Red Dead Redemption). Perhaps people would have more purpose than randomly walking around. Combat would be more fluid than it is in Skyrim too.
Ideally...ideally...

Well, they had talked about putting the Skyrim universe out as an MMO. Have you heard anything on that? Besides, there is enough Skyrim stuff now to last someone hundreds and hundreds of hours. I definitely feel I got my money's worth.

I've played the game (with DLCs) for over 850 hours, But I want more. I want a game without borders but with the same graphics and gameplay. I want all Tamriel opened up without a WOW rehash type they were considering. I want....a complete new world to escape to and adventures to mesmerise. I want scenery and exotic landscapes and deadly seas to excite my very soul.
Even the vanilla game offers enough to where a player could get a bit bored, switch to another game, then find something new to do back on Skyrim.
For example, I just got back to Skyrim, and made one of my existing characters a bandit. I replaced the Dwarven armor and such with fur armor, and reside in cleared out bandit hideouts. I can't use potions. No mods.
