Battle
Modifiers: French -1 tac/str (exceed 6 corps); Ru -1 tac/str (exceed 4 corps)

Round 1: The Russians again appear to anticipate Napoleon's tactics and meet the initial assault with volleys from skirmishers. The French make little impression on the Russian line. France losses 2I and 1M, Russia no appreciable loss.
Round 2: Reforming the French come on again this time inflicting more losses than they take. French morale, however, begins to sag and they pull back to reform. France loses 3I to Russia's 6I. Charles fails to arrive.
Round 3: As the French come on again Bagration commits his Guards. The two armies collide but the Russians stand firm and the French break and begin to retreat from the field. Holland loses 5I, France 2I and 1C to Russia's 6I
Pursuit: Pursuit Class 3 - DR 3 = 15% casualties. The Russian cavalry pursuit catches part of the French rearguard inflicting further, if light losses. France loses 1C and 3I.

Russia - I Corps: 16I; II Corps: 12I; III Corps: 6I; V Guards: 5G, 1C; I Cav Corps: 5C; II Cav Corps: 4C
French withdraw to Freiburg
<< Battle of Ulm - The French suffer fewer losses than other wise might have been expected but having low morale Dutch and French militia helped to soften the blow to the Grand Army. Despite the win, Bagration's army is likewise looking a bit tattered around the edges.>>
