Talking Reinstalled Rome Total War

Because my computer is so much more powerful than 6 or 7 years ago, I can play with all settings maxed out and huge unit sizes: 100 horses/cavalry company and 1800 troops/infantry company. Love the scale of the battles.

Yup she's still a great game. Nice to hear you've got a rig that'll allow you the full impact of this awesome time-spender.

Check out Roma Surrectum II. Terrific mod, there are some bugs to iron out.

I never really got into Total War.
I have a good buddy that's really into it and he'd tried stuffing Rome and Medieval down my throat. Never got into it.
Steam just had a sale on the series so I picked up Napoleon for like 3$, played for less then an hour and ditched it.

I really don't like it and I kinda feel bad for it...

I agree. I tried playing Attila at Chalons once, and lost. What should I have done, or are my Gods weaker?

You were playing RTW: Barbarian Invasion?

Perhaps try installing the mod for Barbarian Invasion called Invasio Barbarorum, supposed to be the best Late Roman Empire RTW mod to ever be made. Now you can relieve your Hunnic Conquests in all its historical accuracy.

Hello everybody,

I totally recommend Europa Barbarorum Mod.

Also, Europa Barbarorum II (for Medieval TW) is being finished and should be out soon.
