Messaging friends without the 5 post limit

Hi there,

would it be very hard to exempt messages to friends from the 5 post limit currently in place? I found a fellow student of mine from university I had lost contact with here, signed up and ran into the limit, then send him a friend request and thought that I would be able to message him after he accepted. Not so, unfortunately.
Wouldn't a general exemption from the 5 post limit for messaging between accepted friends be a good idea?

I'll post at least four top-notch analyses of warfare history otherwise

Putting up 5 posts shouldn't be too hard for you to accomplish. You can easily get 5 posts in the Introduction Thread.
