Invasion troops capture some supplies and armament (planes, fuel, food in RAF Manston, etc, much like Rommel captured in Libya) and ships would continue to arrive. Margat would probably be captured within 24 hours. Dover and other British ports and Calais and Boulogne will soon follow, more British ports as more troops arrive by ship and plane. Urgently needed items arrive by plane in the captured airfield closer to where they are needed.
Capturing the Zeeland Island of Schouwen-Duiveland with a port and the 3rd largest airfield in the NL in 1939 on the first day would be ideal to start supplying by air Ramsgate and to refuel single engine planes flying from German territory to Ramsgate, before the Belgian and French coasts falls.

Any supplies transported even by small ships are a huge improvements over the extremely meager supplies received in Narvik, Crete, etc, in the first week.

More bovine excrement!

The following were the duties and responsibilities under which MI9 worked:-

a). To facilitate escapes of British prisoners of war, thereby getting back service personnel and containing additional enemy manpower on guard duties.

b).To facilitate the return to the United Kingdom of those who succeeded in evading capture in enemy occupied territory.

c).To collect and distribute information.

d).To assist in the denial of information to the enemy.

e).To maintain morale of British prisoners of war in enemy prison camps.

MI9 never at any time made any attempt to estimate potential British casualties from bombing. It was not part of their remit. Responsibility for such estimates lay with the (civilian) Ministry of Health.

Why do you persist in posting statements which are not only false, but which can be demonstrated to be so with ease?
