One reason why a German reporter might think - I suppose - the bottles were worth a headline (and of course a photo) is probably just the shock value to Germans, not to Italians; because Germans have laws against Nazi symbols, as you know.

If neo-Nazis find some consolation for their sitting in the dumpster of history by getting drunk on "Hitler's wine", bully for them, as long as they don't get obnoxious-drunk. I won't be the one giving them the disappointment of informing them that their idol was a teetotaler...

If it's any consolation for you, articles like this are the everyday mundane kind of reporting on anything happening in Russia. Plus all the negative stereotypes imaginable. You can look up the "Russia erects a golden statue of Stalin" thread here to see what I mean. At least mafia and spaghetti-eating weren't featured, so it's not all that bad
