I just saw Lincolnand was deeply moved by the movie. Spielberg and Kusher did a fine job of movie showing how Lincoln wanted to free the slaves using his War Powers and the dynamics of his family in at the end of the war. The movie captures the war-weariness of the nation and vote -haggling perfectly.
Note- did you notice one Union soldier when Grant is at the River Queen. The soldier was either an oriental or Hispanic. FYI
