History of the Electoral College
So at the founding of the Constitution the Founding Fathers decided electors would be chosen by state legislatures, but as time went on more and more states gave this elective power to the voter.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a site that gives a timeline of how states popularized the electoral college. For example, on what dates did states decide to give average citizens the right to choose electors?
