Early war stuff is my favorite.
Battle of Hoke's Run (or Falling Waters or Hainesville), July 2nd, 1861, Berkeley County, West Virginia.
Maj. Gen. Robert Patterson vs. Col. Thomas Jackson.
Caption reads: "General Banks' division recrossing the Potomac from Williamsport, MD., to attack "Stonewall" Jackson. -- Band of the Forty-Sixth Pennsylvania playing national airs on the Virginia shore."

Nice HB,
I look forward to the series. Those re-enactors look very authentic.
