Cabinet Member under Pres Buchanon (Sec of Treasury)....He was a powerful Politician from Georgia, a Circuit Judge, Whig Democrat. Is he any relation to the Baseball Player Ty Cobb????

His brother T.R.R was killed at Fredricksburg at the stone wall.
