There is sensationalism in the outrage, since a child is involved and the narrative that many picked up on was "the state" (in some form or another) preventing a child from obtaining experimental treatment that may or may not have helped them. That is understandable that this notion for the story is what people have connected with, because it resonates on a number of key elements to many people.

Of course, the details are more nuanced, but both sides have to recognize the issues being discussed. From what has been said, it looks like the treatment has no chance of success and thus the risks (and degradation of quality of life) were not justified according to the medical professionals. In this case, it wasn't the evil doctors (or a government cabal) deciding that a baby has to die because it suited their needs.

However, the undertones beneath it are still there, and it's why it remains an issue to many. It hints at those things it doesn't actually address - hence why that narrative has continued onward. The mere rumor that professionals (private or public) can intervene when the parents are desperate to help their child resonates with parents and those distrustful of such interference in such intimate decisions.

In this case it seems like it was a false positive - all too common in this age - but I can sympathize (if not totally condone) those who jumped at the story they thought it was.

See your point but you seem to assume that two sides, a no State one was arguing with a pro State one.

Never was the case. Those supporting Court ruling and GOSH decision did not so on pro State basis. They were framed as such by those supporting the no State point of view.

Genetic and gene have no politicals ideas. If one refute the political lens it apply also for an alledged pro State view.
