The 'perspective' depends on whether you are a social conservative or a social liberal. Either side can make an argument for why these attacks are or are not acceptable. It is the majority view that counts. For now it is the social liberal view that holds sway and I would have to say it has proved robust, given the likes of Bataclan and the Manchester attack where children and the young were targeted. To survive something like that, the social liberal view must run wide and deep. I don't think the wartime generation would have taken it the way the baby boomers and Generation X have.

I wonder, how did they take the terrorist(not terror) attacks that happened in their time? Because the only "effect" of those is that they have been forgotten by every generation. I can't say they took much if any action either.

Never ask the Left to care about people when there is no Political advantage in doing so.
The muslims are far more useful to them, more so than those 1400 girls at Rotheram, that's for sure.
