I've got AdBlock Plus as well as NoScript. I had to temporarily permit a half dozen sites to use JS before I could see the slideshow, but nothing needed to be done with the Ad blocker.

In summary, French archaeologists have been excavating 1st century AD Roman homes along the Rhone near Arles. They were inhabited for about 300 years and then abandoned after a series of fires. Since they weren't built over afterwards, a lot has been preserved.
