Spoofing SAM's

Reading about the TOR-M1 system and came across the following statement 'Have no protection against spoofing Some Tor-M2U'. Can anyone tell me what spoofing means?

Please don't take it the wrong way if I don't thank you for Rep points. To be perfectly honest, I'm not on these boards to collect them, although they are appreciated :)
