Actually,I thought it said "Ashay".I found this one the old fashioned way.Just searching Indian IFVs.

What qualifies as a tank on this thread, anyway? A tracked armored vehicle with some sort of main gun/mortar larger than a HMG?

I ask this because as a newbie to the forum, and as I work backwards through the thread, I see IFV and engineer-type vehicles being called "tanks".

I'm not "beaching" about a broader definition, I'm just curious if there is one...or is it "it's a tank in the eye of the beholder"

Does it have armour plating? Is I believe the fairest qualifying point.

And seeing as its been a bit quiet recently.
