WWI Miniatures

So give me the skinny on the best WWI miniatures. I'm interested in ground combat, artillery, tanks, etc. What's a good rulebook to buy, what are the best miniatures available in the U.S?

You are looking for 15mm mini's I assume so I will shorten your list considerably. I have built 100's of minis from may manufacturers.

Old Glory - made in the USA, A+++ quailty, tin (My favorite mfg)
Skytrex - Old Glory's UK distributer, tin
Gaming Models - made in USA, so-so quality, resin
Peter Pig - Made in UK, A++ quality, tin
Battle front - Made in asia, A++ quality, Pewter
Plastic Soldier Company - Made in UK, A++ quality, plastic
Zvesda - Made in USSR - A+ quality, plastic, assembly can be a issue
Quality Castings - Made in USA (I think), A++ quality, pewter

I hope this helps. Anything else?

Do you have a rule book to recommend? I was thinking of Over The Top.

I think it depends on the scale you want to portrait!

Only small skirmishes, patrols etc. or the "big push"?

I think I'm going to do 15mm and I want to do trench warfare.
