Second that. From my impression 2000s were the heyday of various publications about collaborators and collaboration, many like mentioned Aleksandrov of a good quality. It made a huge scandal circa 2007.

Somewhat off topic, but has there been any well researched works coming out on WW1?

Not my cup of tea usually. I guess there books, PhDs and peer reviewed articles, but I can't give any qualified opinion on them. Speaking generally WWI is not a matter of huge public interest in Russia and is mostly overshadowed by other XX century events. So it happened for a number of reasons.
