RTS/Tower Defense Hybrid "Strategizer: Art of Defense"

Hey guys.
We're working on a new RTS game - and we need your feedback - we want to stay in touch with fans of the RTS genre, and gather general opinion.

It's called 'Strategizer: Art of Defense' (we're not going to spam you with links, as we don't want to annoy people - you can find it easily on google if you are interested) so if you have seen it, we'd like to know your thoughts on how we are doing. You can find the most info on our facebook page, but we also have a lot of details on the website and kickstarter (which ends on April 4th).

We're an Indie team working very hard on this, and due for a Q2 release, so we still have plenty of time to make changes and improve things. If anyone would like to pass judgement, please go right ahead, we're listening! We welcome constructive criticism as we want this game to be as good as possible, and a good dev team should always listen to the fans.

Any questions/comments just leave them here

Looks a bit like the WWI game Toy Soldiers for Steam and X-box, would a fair comparison?

Normally I'd sooner drag my nads over hot coals than play tower defence games, as it's a tired format and every 'indie' developer seems to be making them. You can't chuck a rock on Steam's strategy section without hitting a number of tower defence games, which doesn't really qualify as strategy.
However, Toy Soldiers was quite fun to play and if done well I suppose even tower defence games, with enough bells and whistles, can be enjoyable.

I like the look of the setting behind this game, and the idea of colonising planets as a theme.
Best of luck with fundraising and getting the game launched

Thanks a lot! We're really pushing this more towards an RTS-style game, with power/money management, and yes we're REALLY excited about the campaign which will see you visiting new planets, each with new themes (ice/volcanic/jungle/alien etc) new enemies, and even some pretty cool plot twists and turns - which is why we refer to the story mode as being a bit like a TV series, and it will keep growing and adding new episodes over time.

Anyway thanks for your positive comments
