Bis..

Our Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, announced only yesterday in a 'surprise' visit to Iraq troops, that australia, "Would not be in Iraq forever" and that we will be leaving at some stage in the future, maybe sooner, maybe later.

The 25 year mark of our involvement, our looming recession, commodity prices falling and affecting the big companies, and our government trying to balance the budget with sweeping cost cutting and consolidation that has been going on for over six months, and reulted in the last Prime Minister, Tony Abbot and his popular and then unpopular Treasurer, Joe Hockey, both being kicked to the 'back bench' for failure to fix the economic woes of the nation.

It's all interlinked.

Under John Howard, WE were the very first country to GUARANTEE our full support for the Bush Administration's policy. Now, multiple presidents later, our government and nation just cannot afford it.

Maybe if we insisted that these same large business interests would PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES, it might be different.

Proportionately, the poorest families in the land are paying far more in taxes than people like Gina Rinehardt or Clive Palmer, or James Packer, (who seems more interested in porking Mariah Carey than paying his share of tax.)

I think Australia is definately on the downside in Iraq. Maybe the French and Russians will pick up the baton.

and thats one thing that IS a positive.

Relations with the Putin governemnt and the west have never been better. Islam will UNITE us as much as the War on Terror unites the Islam.

There is a BIG war coming....Pulling out of the Middle East will be seen as the first step, like Abysinnia was for western europe, or the Sino-Japanese conflict was for the Pacific.

Tighten your belts, ladies, its going to get REALLY NASTY very soon.

Yea, until you run into the wrong bunch of guys...

Real story from Rocky Point (Porto Penasco Mexico):

I was down there with some friends from college. These included Chuck Knox Jr. son of the coach of the Seattle Seahawks and a number of U of A football players, among others... It was kind of neat that Chuck was really into miniature wargaming...

Anyway, I took them all to this neat little restaurant I knew about that served great breakfast. We're sitting there when five gringos blunder in still pretty drunk from the previous evening (probably too many at JJ's in Cholla Bay http://www.jjscantina.com/index.htm ).

They started molesting the waitress...

We told them to STFU and leave her alone or else. They didn't and the football players took them outside and proceeded to beat the $hi+ out of them, flabby f***ks they were.
The police showed up and the restaurant workers explained the problem resulting their going to Mexican jail. We got breakfast for free... but we insisted on paying anyway...

I got banned for saying my knuckles itched. Wrongly. I'm still somewhat pissed about that. You mods need to reconsider your actions. Quit siding with nazis. That's how I see it.

Unfortunately, thanks to enhanced global travel systems;
Genital mutilation risk triples for girls and women in US, CDC study finds

EXCERPT:
...
The US government outlawed FGM in 1996 but some people send their daughters to countries that permit the practice for “vacation cutting”, FGM which is also illegal in the US.
...
The CDC said that the increase in women at risk in the US was “wholly a result of rapid growth in the number immigrants” from countries that practice FGM.
And the risk for girls in the US younger than 18 has grown fourfold, said the study.
“It’s the 21st century and I think no one should be forced to be go through something like this,” Dukureh said. “No child should be forced to undergo this.”
