All,

Watching the news over the last two months may be indicators that the North Koreans may wish to initiate hostilities with the South.....

A large rocket test and the very likelihood of a nuclear test occuring is causing the North to be VERY bold about what they are doing.

Will there more "blood-shed" on the Korean peninsula?

Stayed tuned friends, our beloved Dear Leader may wish to become very BOLD.......

The North has a major inferiority complex. And sadly that is the nature of the beast. It's not going to change. Their neighbors to the south have become players on the world's stage in a variety of fields. Whereas the only way that the North can get the attention it craves, is to bang its war drum. Unfortunately, this time its drum is bigger and potentially more dangerous.
For the past half century the North has been obsessed with unifying the Korean Peninsula (under its control naturally), rather than moving forward to the benefit of its citizens and its own future. I hope that I'm wrong, but unless sanity suddenly makes a resurgence in Pyongyang, I think that they wouldn't hesitate to accomplish that goal or go down in a blaze of glory in the attempt.
Again, here's hoping that it's all bluff and bluster.

That is the attitude that started the war in the first place; the US sphere of influnce ended in the along the northern coast of Japan and that is what made the Reds so BOLD......

The shooting has already begun with a US/ROK Naval exercise of the SE coast looking for "rogue" submarines.....

I don't think they'll enjoy the brief success they did in round 1.
Nobody's going to be surprised this time around and from a modern day weaponry perspective the 38th Parallel is custom made for static defence.
Must watch out for China though. Are they still bosom buddies like they were in the early 50s?

Not even close. China still supports the North but they're also getting sick of the embarrassing stunts they keep pulling. China wouldn't like to see Korea unified under Southern control but they would never get drawn into a way that would isolate them economically from the rest of the world in order to keep the DPRK around.
