I wouldn't look it as punishing the law abiding as protecting every one.

I live in CT., I am a NRA member, and I shouldn't, nor any other CT. resident have to spend an hour or so to go to another state just to buy ammo, if this bill is signed into law.
As I said before, these bills that are being drawn up now in the Connecticut State Assembly are punishing the responsible, law-abiding gun owner in Connecticut. Everyone wants action, let's fix the mental health system in this country first, before punishing the law-abiding gun owners with more restrictive laws.

I asked a question, Bob jumped on me and then took us down the whole M-16A2 route. You came on a little after that trying to cover up some mistakes that you had made.

Bob and Jeff mentioned banana clips in relation to the M-16. Slick mentioned AKs. All called them magazines.

I kept on trying to drop it but you kept bringing it back up to the top of the discussion.
Check post #119 where I'm talking about a possible way to link mental health.
You, I guess to keep things off-track deside to go back for the derail on post #121
Again I try to keep it on track with post #131. the tread is going smooth to an extend but I guess that isn't what you wanted.
You come back for the derail at post #142 and you continue.....

Well...yes? I'm an adult with a fair amount of life experience. When I meet someone, on the internet or in person, I assess who they are and what they are capable of. I am looking for qualities like maturity, honesty and integrity. If someone is to be my friend they should treat me with respect or I don't need them as a friend. You have failed on all levels of what I would look for in a friend so I am trying to tell you honestly that we will not be friends. Why would you look to me for friendship after this exchange?

Another distortion of the truth. The issue you raised was my misuse of clips for magazines. Interesting that now you term my actions as attempting to cover it up when very early on you pointed out that I had corrected my "mistake." Look back over the thread if you like and you will see that you never termed my actions as an attempt to cover up and doing so now is a complete contradiction of your earlier statements.

I saw that a number of veterans recognized that clips had been used to describe magazines in their experience with firearms using magazines. I further pointed out that I had seen the name used, specifically remembering the mag for the 10/22 and showing a picture of the seller of this item referring to it as such. In the long run you have cluttered up this thread unnecessarily with a discussion of a misused term when the matter should have been dropped long ago. Terms are interchanged or misused in discussions of tools (if you agree with the classification of a gun as a tool) all the time with very little damage to the discussion. In police, military and legislative matters it is essential to get these terms right. In an informal internet discussion it is worthy of a polite correction, nothing more.

Let's try for some accuracy, shall we? You bring up post #119 but I think it needs to be looked at in context. The time stamp shows you posted it on 19 Dec 12 at 15:41. Twenty-seven minutes earlier at 15:14 you had taken yet another shot at R. Evans. One minute prior to that you had posted an attack at me. You'll remember this one, it is the one where you copied my posting style completely. Are you telling me that you were up to your regular attacks and obsession on the clip issue but 27 minutes later you had purged all the hateful bile from your body and were at peace with the world? How would I know?

Once again a simple review of ALL the posts show that you were on the attack that very same day. I should believe you suddenly became an angel? Look at how you described other posters in one of your posts that very same day. "People want to restrict rights without knowledge of the subject of those rights."

Why the obsession with the M-16A2? I could care less about it. The issue to me was my switching the term magazine for clip. You and others pointed out that this a was an error and a number of people pointed out that it was a slang misuse, not an uncommon one. You have acted the troll through all of this, acting as though everyone needs to live out of military manuals - because you say so. I took up an attempt to stop you in a method I use against trolls. As I pointed out there are many terms that are misused in everyday life and nitpicking as you have done here, in this way, is ridiculous. I really thought the military taught their people to lead a life of honesty and integrity in and out of the uniform.

No distortion of the truth, the thread shows exactly what happened.

No kidding! It is essential to get the terms right....it took a while but finally I taught you the most important aspect of this subject.
Specific to you "informal internet discussion".....why are your panties all bunched up over my corrections on your posts? Yet you jump on me for spelling errors.......

Complete accuracy on my part. EVERYTIME I came back on line with the thread you jumped right back and derailed it back to this. BTW, you did it again...

I ask a question and get jumped on....
Here's something else that I can teach you; When someone asks a question, shouldn't be offended.

I don't know why you keep bringing the M-16A2 back up....might I suggest that you stop bringing it up if it offends you?
My honesty and integrity are good to go, that was a pretty lame troll on your part. If you learn how to control your temper you will probably learn to stop the trolling. There is no need for you to continuously have your panties bunched up....

Try this one:
I'm rubber, you're glue, everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you.
Falls right in with the rest of your replies.
