Sid Meier's Alpha Centuari, Panzer General and People's General

I've played all of these games and were pretty exciting. For example in Alpha Centauri you wage war amongst different factions, while in Panzer General you get to relive the famous battles of World War Two.In People's General where I achieve a tactical victory you're fighting a war on Eastern Asian soil.

I grew up on Civ and Alpha Centauri. I'd pay good money for a remake of the latter.

You may want to check out Pandora: First Contact, as it looks like they're aiming to be a spirtual successor to Alpha Centauri (link). It's being published by Matrix Games, and is due out later this year.

Nice to hear, most of my enemies brand as Machiavellian in Civ,although i enjoy the games since it allows me to innovate.
If you know a good game good ahead and recommend.

I always wondered why given the popularity of the Civ series, all of which I played, Sid never did an updated remake of Alpha Centauri. I quite enjoyed that game too.
