Hi
It seems his arrest isn't directly related to the Saville investigations, but no doubt the women may well have got the courage (if the accusations true) to come forward, because of all the furore around Saville etc

Apparently he was accused of puting his hand up a womans skirt and 'jiggling' a womans breasts - in the 1970s
That's worth arresting him and dragging him to the station in handcuffs.
And he lost his job - good work po-lice

Hi Gooner
I wasn't aware that he's lost his job over the allegations?

Saville was always considered weird, people just didn't quite work out why. Harris is considered a national gift fromt he Ausrtralians, like an eccentric and amusing uncle, if it turns out he's up to his kangaroo-tying neck in this then it'll shock the national psyche more than Saville's exposure, I'd have thought.

I'd be utterly mortified and question if the sun really rose in the morning...
I dont buy it. I think someone's trying to cash in, in his case....

Hello.
Been reading this thread and the links too.
Quite a story.
Has he been found guilty of any misdoings related to all of this?
The reason I ask is, wanting to dig him up, removing his headstone etc. seems premature.

Judging by the number who've come forward to complain of molestation by him I would say that he is guilty. I've met people online who mentioned his activities before he died but he was such a high profile figure (charity etc) that they didn't want to take it any further.
