Richard Anderson has died

Just found out, by accident really, that Richard Anderson died yesterday. He must've done a million guest appearances on tv shows back in the day.

He was also in the film Seven Days in May. He played either Gen. Scott's ( Burt Lancaster)aide or adjutant.

He was usually type cast in that sort of role in the same way that Powers Booth usually played corrupt senators, business men and cowardly generals etc.

The furthest back I can remember seeing him, outside of reruns of course, was in The Night Strangler tv movie. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Night_Strangler_(film) He played the "bad guy" in the movie, but he doesn't make a real appearance until the last part of the movie.

he is best know for The Six Million Dollar man and Bionic Woman but he was also in episodes of Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The A-Team and of course was General Meade in Gettysburg.
