"You know he has killed people in Ukraine"

http://www.businessinsider.com/paul-...ukraine-2017-3

Quote:
In a series of texts reviewed by Business Insider that appear to have been sent by Andrea to her sister, Jessica, in March 2015, Andrea said their father had "no moral or legal compass."

"Don't fool yourself," Andrea wrote to her sister, according to the texts. "That money we have is blood money."

"You know he has killed people in Ukraine? Knowingly," she continued, according to the reviewed texts. "As a tactic to outrage the world and get focus on Ukraine. Remember when there were all those deaths taking place. A while back. About a year ago. Revolts and what not. Do you know whose strategy that was to cause that, to send those people out and get them slaughtered."
Interesting, but of no consequence as usual. I think our more conspiracy minded members will find this interesting?

Interesting, practically speaking if you get involved in the politics of a place like the Ukraine some of the dirt will rub off on you. Bad judgment or sinister either way it does seem that the right deserves some close examination.

I started off by mentioning what is practical because that is the fundamental source of the political divide. The left is concerned with equality and justice and the right with results. Empathy versus conscientiousness in their respective positive light. Both can take you to bad places if not restrained by each other.

The beauty of Trump is his election shines a light on those dark places. We get to see the corruption of the DNC and the fascist tendencies of the right as the battle has moved out of the shadows.

We can see how empathy can be pathological if it paints the wrong people as predators. We can see how conscientiousness can justify the means to an end and become immoral.

Moving to the center is not the solution because more often than not it just brings out the worst in both personalities. We need to simply be more objective and maximize the advantages of both personality types.

There is no moral center because our morality is limited by our ability to control unintended consequences. We live in the post humanist world where skepticism has become cynicism. The culture wars are a symptom not the cause of social devolution.
