Which isn't too surprising. The EU and NATO weren't too keen on Ukraine in the first place, even before the little mess they have now. Having a controversial nationalist figure like Bandera being honored doesn't do much to appease neighbors in a region where even sneezing wrong can be seen as a grave insult.

Poland is not NATO and EU:
Poland was a fervent supporter of the NATO enlargement policy, in particular to Ukraine
Of course, they are not the ones who make decisions.
Anyway, the main point is that some tensions over controversial Polish-Ukrainian history are still visible.

Oh I know, I was referring to the past situation, when Georgia and Ukraine were either turned down for consideration in NATO, or were never seriously desired by the powers that be because of... well, one just has to look at Ukraine today to understand how little they offer NATO beside a massive headache.

And that's even before we thrown in the ethnic nationalism and all the rest. It's no stretch to say that Poland isn't making a lot of friends with its neighbors...
