We do not need scouts at this location. If the galleon is here we leave if it is not we attack directly from sea with our ship's gun as cover. We woiuld be able to break off at any time if the storm looked threatening.
If there is a galleon ere we move south or just go on to other projects. Our last scouts only served to alert the target. They may have confused the enemy and made them nervous about their flanks but they gave us no info wort the alerting of the enemy.
Since we were able to pick up our scouts last time almost immediately and react to their info quickly it was a slight positive.
Te current situation is VERY risky and is unacceptable if it involves more than 12-24 hours. There is no way we can vouch for that time frame.
look for the net sight and hit it if we can win before the storm sets in (if it even will). If the galleon is present bail and reevaluate. Do not land a shore party. Way to many risks and not enough payback.
We can always jetison guns if we need more speed to run from surprises.
