Chippawa Reenactment on 5 July

My family and I are going to Canada for a couple of weeks this summer. We are going to Fort Henry in Kingston, Ontario first. I was last there in the summer of 1964.

Next we're going to Fort Erie on the Niagara and will be seeing the Chippawa reenactment on 5 July in the evening.

Then when back in the US we're going to Erie Pennsylvania to see the brig USS Niagara on which Perry won the Battle of Lake Erie.

It ought to be a nice trip.

Make sure NIAGARA is in port when you go. The site should have her itinerary.

... all that far from Niagara-on-the-Lake (the former Newark) and Fort George, with Youngstown NY and Fort Niagara across the river. The Niagara Parkway runs between Fort Erie and Fort George along the river, it's a very laid back scenic drive, the northern end is nicer than the Fort Erie area, and you'll pass through the Villages of Chippawa and Queenston Heights (with a bridge/border crossing) on the way.
