Anyone have any good 18th century OOB links?

French and Indian War, American Revolution, British/French Colonial?

What about the War of 1812, Quasi-War, or Barbary Wars?

This may sound a bit out of the way but would anyone have a link to the HEIC and Brit Forces during the Indian Mutiny of 1857?

Does anyone have the Red Chinese Army Order of Battle from 1948 - 1954?

Or where I may locate some info?

Thanks in advance.

Not Sure

I'm a little confused as to what you are wanting here. Order of Battle by Brigade, individual unit actions, chain of commmand.....oh well

Allen,

The information some may be looking for would depend on the battle, or situation.

For example, I am looking for the order of battle for units that fought in the Battle of the Bulge; that would be a large effort, but I would begin by looking at what side (American or German) I would like to see first. I would start at th ehighest level of command (normally that is Army level) and begin writing down units that belonged to that Army during the Battle of the Bulge; I would begin by recording the Corps that fell under the Army, then the Divisions under the Corps, then I would detail all the units under each Division before moving along to seperate Battalions (units that fell directly under a Corps of a Army level organization).

This could be as vague or as detailed as you might want it to appear. The more information that is provided, the less questions might be asked.

I've been using this since 1997.
I used to use teleport pro to keep it on my PC.
It's a good series of sites with now many external links.
