Soldier killed by anti-tank missile fired from near UN school

Levy was killed by an anti-tank missile fired from near a UN school, the IDF said. Mortar shells and anti-tank missiles were fired “from a structure near an UNRWA school,” the IDF said, killing Levy and injuring several others.

It's nice how the U.N. doesn't really mind how its schools are used as storage for firearms and ammunition, and it's premises as shields for terrorist attacks.

That brings up a really good point. Are UN officials trying to claim that they were not aware that Hamas was stockpiling artillery rockets (not exactly small) in schools they administer and none of the UN officials knew about it?

I don't believe that for minute.

You can if you interpret 'were not aware' as 'did not care'.

Its all in the fine points.

"Officials" as in staff from UN HQ might. "Officials" as in the local guys in charge probably have to pay off Hamas gunmen just to run the schools in the first place.
