Interesting to say the least and I could pick holes in the story but I won’t except for one thing. The Marines battle for Hill 400 has nothing to do with the Ashau Valley. The HCM trail, maybe, but those hills were miles away from the valley in a different province.

Good documentary. My first platoon sgt was in the lead recon unit that initiated the battle in the A Shau valley. He had stories of close, ugly night fighting for the survivors hanging on for the reinforcements.
