I don't think so, that drive should have ended with a TD and conversion, yes the Ravens had 2 minutes to go but guess what, the pressure then is for the Ravens to come from behind in the death clutch of a SB.
Pressure like that could of made it worse for the Ravens, than for the 49ers as they had all the momentum.

Rubbish. The Niners were robbed by the officials. It should have been personal foul and first down for the Niners when the placekicker was bulldozed! And Byonce's big butt and thighs was bad juju and obviously chosen to favor the Ravens. The Niners needed an Elton John or Ricky Martin to pull off this Superbowl.

The ludicrous Steely McBeam mascot only exists because the league mandated that each team have one. Pure hokum! Again a piece of fluff that is not needed, nor welcome or desired.
There is nothing wrong with having cheerleaders. I do think it becomes silly when they make news because of non-events like the Ravens girl, or become more of the show than the team, aka the Cowgirls.

Anybody who believes professional ball sports aren't fixed is ignorant.

So how, exactly, do you think the Superbowl could be fixed?
It seems many European soccer games have been fixed in recent years. One way has been to bribe a referee who awards a dubious penalty at a crucial point. Seems a very 'hit and miss' approach to obtain a certain result given all the other variables in a game.
But it does happen and is apparently extremely profitable for the gangs running it.

I'm no snitch.
Let's just say it is a 'family' affair.

Speak of the Devil, just found this:
"At a press conference in The Hague, in the Netherlands, the European Police announced that after investigating more than 700 football matches across Europe, they found 380 of them to have been fixed, including Champions League, World Cup qualifiers, and European Cup qualifying matches."

Beautiful as a pig's ass...
Ball sports breed corruption and violence among both players and fans.

Of all the professional sports the NBA is the worst. Not so much with point shaving or fixed games but with helping superstars score points. As great as Michael Jordan was he had more help from the refs than baseball players get help from steroids. Just look at his game winning shot against Utah in the 1998 NBA Finals.

Oh get off it Paul. Sports fixing, cheating and looking for an illegal edge have been here since the ancient Olympics and beyond. There are many reports of runners, wrestlers and boxers doing any number of illegal things to win. Note, those are all not ball sports!
It isn't the game or what they play it with......it is the people involved and the importance put on it. If college wrestling, judo or swimming brought the fame and money ball sports do we would be reading the same about them!
Regards,
Dennis

The people? Oh yeah, like the guy who got busted with 500 lbs. of dope?
Or the the ones who kill their women?
Impressive.
