My last baby.
Hello les amis!
As an architectural model maker ,i share with you our last release, a 13 or 15 stories building complex, that will be built close to the Seine river in Rouen,Normandie, where i live.
We are no architect,so i am not responsible for the look of this,i am personnaly, the painter and decorator of this thing....I let you imagine the nightmare of my female colleague ,supposed to transfer on Autocad, the blueprints of the building, hand sketched......
Enlightments are optical fibers, material is 100 percent plexiglass laser-cuted,paint is acrylic, airbrushed with weathering effects (shading, drybrushes).
I am particulary proud of the patina of our models,i never forget that i am a former oil figurinist, and i try to ad these technics to releases even when we're in the modern architecture..

Nice work.
Now the guys have images of what I have been chatting about in my own comments.
I have worked on basically this manner of work in the 80s, I got to paint the models primarily.
The one difference from this line of work to painting a model tank, is when the client brought in a paint chip, they wanted THAT colour. Not mostly, but precisely.

Looks sort of small. It fits on a table. Who can live on a table?
Great for the city. Still, city isn't my thing.

More seriously, little green places for people to go outside. No play grounds etc. Who is this built for? Old people without children around perhaps?
