Any good books on Hungary?

Hello, since I sent a PM to Sboklin for his book recommendations on the general history of Hungary, I thought I might stop by here, and ask you Europeans to see if you know any good book on the general history of Hungary. My father is from Hungary, so I'm looking for something to get myself familiar with the general history of Hungary.

Dan, near as I know, the standard book on the history of Hungary is Miklos Molnar's A Concise History of Hungary. This book replaced the former standard work on the topic - A Rambling, Aimless History of Hungary (36 volumes).

Brian Scott is on the path to success [1-99]
I also recommend Miklos Molnar's "A Concise History of Hungary".

It offers a comprehensive thousand-year history and covers all the major episodes of Hungarian history.
