I like the white because it has a more creamy texture, applies more evenly. when you mix it with a little acetone you can get it thin enough to almost paint and it is cheaper than Mr Surfacer.

Smooth clean work Paul!!  I bet that is an intimidating presence in the 1:32 scale.
I am starting to really to love these Cold War Jets US and the Ruskies cranked out some classics.

have to agree john, ive been getting into these older jets myself. 1/48 skyray is my current project. i have to say though...looking at this mean f-100 makes me want one!!!

update; I have the first color down and am looking forward to going the full monty and getting it all finished. I thin it will be quite the kit.
My biggest problem is getting the white balance on the photos correct.

I really dont see what all the fuss is. I do a kit like this in about a month but sometimes a 48 buggar has me in pain for at least two.
I have this 32 Hartman bird that I cant get the tulips right and I really like that plane. I will have to get another and re do it right I guess.
All these kits have their nuances and some are right sweet wile other are not fit for the trash bin. This one is going together nicely and the only difficulty I have is me. I cant leave well enough alone.
