The five year engagement
Very funny in places, I would recommend it for an easy escapist evening.

A Hollywood recruiting ad for the Navy. But it was fun, stuff get's blown up. It's a journey through every movie cliche that has even been written, and a cringe worthy, wince inducing attempt to intertwine the film with the board game. Completely forgettable plot. Akin to the HMS Victory being rolled out of dock to fight a time traveling Napoleon —it's that absurd— but it's fun. As long as you keep your expectations within the realm of reasonable, you'll enjoy it. I expect U.S. Navy vets will be beaming when they leave their seats.

Inglourious Basterds again. I really need to watch something different. I just can't help myself. I've seen it so many times I can quote it.

"The Lucky One" about a young Marine who returns from war to win the heart of the woman he loves in Louisiana, and the baggage in her life that tries to stop him.

I sort of got that impression from trailers and such-it seemed like a Battle LA and Transformers type thing.
From the trailers, we finally see the use for blue navy camo! Totally useless and a waste of money but it looks nice for a movie!

I don't know about "over and over again" but I have been able to enjoy it more than once; and ignore the butchering of history while doing so (quite an achievement for me, I might add).

I've always been a strange duck. I was never into superheroes,I didn't like cartoons, unless Bugs Bunny,(I liked Bugs,Foghorn Leghorn,Sylvester, and Yosemite Sam.) But the last few years all they wanna do is make comics into movies, and believe me,it isn't my thing. I know it is others, but I'd rather see a movie on George Rogers Clark or Lewis and Clark than The Avengers.
