Aledgedly she told the police - or the doctor when they brought her to the asylum - that she wanted to have a baby.

I doubt she gets away with that but I do have to wonder why she has been released. As far as I can tell this should be considered rape and last time I checked people who rape others (domestic or otherwise) get a bit more than a slap on the wrist.
