Don't mean to be picky, but if you are trying to get a "Flanker" paint scheme, the dark blue seams to dark. Model masters paints have two great colors called "Flanker Medium Blue" (a light pale blue color) and "Flanker Blue/Gray" the darker blue on the Flanker scheme. I used them on this Aggressor F-14 I did a while back.
Actually had one person say to me, "Wow, Nice SU-27!" when looking at it.
But I do like where you are going with this!
I also did a F-16 Aggressor but did it in the green scheme. I used the Hasagawa model for my build.
OK, enough highjacking your thread, Back to work GM!

Don't really care just as long as it looks close enough to me. Besides it aint done yet and the white balance isn't really balanced. Its close for Vallejo though. I do like your flanker. I may just repaint it black, my Falcon, and put a Guennis logo on it...

Did you use a mask over the lighter colors, or do the blue freehand? The soft edges are nice.

Its all free hand. I tried to use silly putty for masking but it has an adverse effect on the residue. I have some touch up then it should come out better

Well I am putting this Falcon on the perch and going with this.
The 32 scale Trumpy F-100D. I have a friend who requested this kit and he is going to put it in his Viet Nam museum thats in his gun shop. So it is an important build
