DV: Disposition of Rum
In the event (likely) that the Holy Crusade wins the fighting here in Rum, how will the Crusaders dispose of this region?
The Lords of the Crusade should cast their vote here, bearing in mind the following:
-Whoever takes up lordship of this land is likely to (have to) take all his men from the Crusade to see to administering and holding it.
-All their remaining warchest may be donated to Lords continuing on with the Crusade.
-Supplies and logistics may be supplied to the main body at their discretion.
-The Byzantines are likely to object if you give too much of their Empire away...

Give this one to the Byzantines as a show of goodwill, reassemble our forces, naturally the Byzantines should feel quite beholden for the destruction of a large Turkish host and the restoration of their territory, and should provide the crusade with necessary supplies to assist in the furtherance of the eradication of the Saracen menace......the Byzantine actions will determine the level of magnanimity that is shown after the next battle.....

Rum?
Oh, Rumelia.
For a second there I thought you were talking about some kind of Pirate thing...
So, whoever gets it is basically out of the game?
That's fine, I have 3 jobs going at the same time and I was going to need to back out of something anyway.
Gonna need to go back to the Emperor for more support, and to ensure that the deal I spelled out with the Crusaders is fulfilled. At the very least, their lines of communication with Europe are secure; by land through Rumelia and by sea through Cyprus.
But we need to win this battle first.

As a bystander and not playing this magnificent wargame I am not in position to cast a vote, but if I would be crusader I would give Rum to Byzantium as a gesture of a goodwill, but I wait that Byzantium will keep supply lines open and guard the rear areas (mainly the area of Turkey so that enemies couldn't sent reinforcements from there) of the crusading army.

Duke Welf says these are the reasons why I voted for Rum to remain with the Byzantine Empire
1.We let the Byzantine Empire watch the Turkish Empire. The Byzantines control the approaches (land and sea) to the Holy Land.Manpower and supplies from the Byzantine Empire more importantly, Europe, come through friendly territory.
2.It shows to our Byzantine friends that we will support them through thick and thin as brothers.
After the battle
We should reconstitute our armies and decide on where we should go from here.

The Sultanate of Rum was never rightfully Turkish! Anatolia is for the Greeks!
...well medieval Anatolia anyways

Thank you for your confidence, Gentlemen, we will not fail you.
And I can continue to take part, if the GM allows;
Might not be able to give you on-the-spot help once you pull ahead, but I can still do it by means of correspondence.
Even the Mongols have a form of the Pony Express by now, why can't we?

Actually in this case the Byzantine Empire will be able to garrison Anatolia without depleting Dux Chalcondyles' forces; as such, he will be able to continue.
He may even get reinforcements and/or new goals
