The selection is a bit odd at least for those who don't speak German and can't read the captions. There are some good shots of everyday life, but the pics of political rallies, leaders and tanks are rather "usual" stuff so to say. I wish there were more of those with trams, Hitlerjugend, etc. - something you don't normally see in books/documentaries on Nazi Germany.

My German is a bit to weak to fully understand the captions, but the final one summed it up nicely.

Pity you only get to see the photo show which I agree doesn´t have much that´s new.
On the contrary, I got to watch some episodes and found the one dealing with the Hitler Youth to be excellent, and greatly improved by points and comments from Dr.Sönke Neitzel, who has just taken up a post at Glasgow University. (Lucky Scots).
I am not aware if any of Neitzel´s books have been translated, but he´s written some very good stuff on the period 1900-45, and topped this off with his annotations and notes on the German generals shooting their mouths off in captivity while the sneaky Brits secretly recorded them.( "Abgehört".)

Was kind of interesting. I use Google Chrome and it translated the captions to English.
