War Gaming - as distinct from Wargaming - Hmmm

There are a number of Games going on in this Site -
If any of youse is interested - starting point is the Alternate Timelines Sub-Forum.

As fer me - well, ya see I joined this Site in February 2011.
A week later or so, I joined a Game which had just got properly started -
In the Sci Fi Sub-Sub-Forum.
Called "Sci Fi Wargame?" - the Guy who started it was not sure if anyone would be interested, y'see.

So - since April last year I have been a major Player in that Game, and the Game Master.
The "Krissyverse" is an Alternative ( fictional ) Timeline which began in 2130, in a Universe almost exactly like the Real One - except all the Stars have different names ( except Sol - the Sun ).
Been moving on ahead, but slower now, since there is so much going on - now it is 2138 - and we have been in a WAR with a Galactic Empire of Aliens for all of this time, off and on.

Is anyone Interested ?? -
Or should I really just get Slapped ??

there's almost no one from this thread left here

the "transition" referred to those of us moving here from wargamer.com when the editor in chief moved over here to take a new job

several unpleasant encounters later, it was clear we weren't going to be made to feel welcome and we packed up shop

we're now running our own place where we actually discuss games along with the rest of it

there's some good history discussions here, but the game threads left us all wanting

Thanks - Bayonet Brant - Hmmm - Board Games are okay,
but I prefer something that Runs and Runs.

We started over a year ago - still running ( I think ) -
and we sorta have the whole Galaxy to Play In.

it's not all boardgaming. in fact the computer wargaming section of the forums over at grogheads.com is pretty robust. but it is definitely more game-focused than this place is

Points taken -
I would definitely expect Games to be more of an Interest there, than they are here.
It is really hard to rouse any Interest in Games, in here.

I had a look at both of your Shortcut Sites.
Hmmm - The Game I am running is about as different as can be.

I guess it takes a wierd kind of person, to want to Play in "my" Game.
