It all boils down to whom is giving you campaign money. I doubt Labor sends much money to the GOP in that state.

And the Governors are all the same "species" as all of us here...

Walker can do something about unions in his state. Wall Street is a Federal matter and out of his hands.

He's also about to be one of the few governors to soon demonstrate that those who are attempting to recall him are leftist idiots when the recall fails hugely.
Time was we didn't use recalls for anything but malfeasance or outright incompetence in office, but now it's mostly used for policy disputes.

More like what Unions want to do to a sitting Governor.
But we know you're happy that Unions are trying just because they don't like a policy - nothin new there.
And when it's over, if he is recalled, it will be nothing more than a certain act of Unions to remove a Governor they don't like or agree with. That'sa real nice addition to precedent that they'll never be allowed to forget at the worst possible times for them in the future. And if he isn't recalled, they'll never be allowed to forget that they tried to remove a Governor they didn't like or agree with at the worst possible times for them in the future. End the end, it will hurt the Unions far more & for much longer than anything that might be gained in Wisconsin.
In the bigger picture & into the future, Sux to be them!

Admiral, there you go putting words in my mouth and speaking for a group called WE?
who is WE?
IMHO the recall is the ultimate act of Democracy... the people went outside the normal process controlled by political parties
and went the petition route and succeeded in bringing a unpopular leader back to the court of public opinion for a vote of confidence ( or lack of it).
if some of the venom reserved for Unions and their political operatives was directed with an equal level at corporations and their political hacks and lobbysits, you and I would agree.
