Guys, until we can harvest our first crop of barley, we're going to have to get by with beer made from a combination of pumpkins, sasafrass root, molassas, honey, wild hops, rose hips, blackberries and blueberries. Rest assured, it will be a very potent, mildly sweet ale that will keep away the damnable scurvy next winter.

I chose brewer, but on the voyage over, I came to find out there were already two very qualified brewers amongst us. So if I might,
The name is Dorsey Kosar Walsh Toretta Erickson V, but my friends call me The Ibis. In my misspent youth, I learned many things, including how to brew beer and sell it to the masses - "Beer, here... beer, here." I also travelled around the Old World quite a bit. So the Ibis offers his services as a diplomat to negoiate with the local Native Americans.

Anthony Thacher from Queen Camel, Somerset is a 35 year old former soldier, who has signed up to be a farmer. As a young man he served as a musketeer for several campaigns in the Low Countries fighting the cruel papists of Spain, and then in the Palatinate against the heretic Tilly. But he soon grew tired of war, and decided to try to escape the strife and suffering of the Old World by traveling to the New.

William Scrote - William comes from a long line of Cornish fishermen and sailors, and he had an unfortunate dispute regarding some missing money, so rather than decorate an apple tree he has decided to try his luck in the new world.
Dour and disagreeable he has no real interests outside of boats, woman and a full tankard.

We still don't know our population and until we do it's going to be hard to play this out.
Each day we seem to gain people as fast as a rabbit.
Our Guard Force is up to close to 40. We have brought horses and hunting dogs< did we come on Noahs Arch> into the game. East of the Appalachians and across the Northern Plains and Great Lake the land was first explorded by water or on foot for the most part. The easteren forest are dense. Very dense for those that are unfamiliar. Not the best horse country.
