I started at ft Jackson S.C. the onto Neckarsulm Germany then to Ft. Campbell Kentucky TS in Ft. Dixx N.J.

Interesting i once knew of an 85th USAFAD (United States Army Field Artillery Detachment) (Pershing) near Geilenkirchen. It was very near the Dutch frontier and the city of Brunssum, (NL) where the Hq's AFCENT was located.

It was part of the 5th FA Group at Duren. Which in turn was part of the 59th Ord Bde out of Pirmasens.

We were 56th brigade Neu Ulm/Schwabish Gummund/Heilbronn (artillery kaserne,Neckarsulm,Badnerhof Kaserne I forget the town and Waldheide redleg Heilbronn This was 1984/1987 for me. We had P-1 and was there for change over to Pershing 2 missiles
