Farnborough International 2004A J Summersgill October 22, 2004 | 0 comments | Print | E-mail Here’s the stand hosted by the US Department of Defence (I’m English, so I’ll stick to my version of the spelling). It had three sides to it, one each for Army, Air Force and Navy. This is the Javelin missile system – I asked nicely and the man on the stand gave me an excellent virtual demonstration. Turns out, the man I was speaking to actually had a hand in its development. Then he gave me a pin badge for being a good boy (!). And finally, some shots of the NASA stand which sat inside Hall 5, one dedicated entirely to space exploration projects. This, apparently, is a “Robonaut”.
