On page 22 you have a picture of the Austrian Corporal with the background of the Eiffel Tower….I have exactly the same picture BUT with my late father-in-law, at the time Cpl Waffen SS, taken in the same place….I guess almost everybody in the German Army, sic 1940 ,had their photos taken there just like today’s Japanese tourists ….Had mine own done when I was based out of Paris with the airlines in the 90′s.
