ArmchairGeneral.com readers may recall that back on October 27, 2008, we ran an exclusive interview with Francis Gary Powers Jr., founder of the Cold War Museum and son of the American U-2 pilot who was shot down over the Soviet Union, August 17, 1960. ACG recently received information that Francis Gary Powers, Jr., will be leading a tour to Russia to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the U-2 spy plane incident, one of the best-known incidents of the Cold War.
