CDG 33 – Pegasus Bridge, June 6, 1944Armchair General staff | May 19, 2009 | 2 comments | Print | E-mail ![]() Map by Petho Cartography Will you have all six gliders land near the western end of the Orne River Bridge, in order to seize that span quickly then move on to the Caen Canal? Will you split your forces to capture both bridges simultaneously, landing three gliders west of the Orne Bridge and three east of the Caen Canal? Or will you have three gliders put down east of the Orne and the other three west of the canal, an "outside-in" flanking approach to seize both bridges simultaneously? The decision is a critical one. Good men’s lives – and perhaps the success of the invasion – depend on you making the best choice. Download the map and entry form from the link above. Tags: game, Military History, World War II
