PC and Board Game Reviewers – We are looking for freelance game reviewers to help us build our reviews database. Previous published work is preferred, but not absolutely required. Demonstration of your writing skills will definitely be required. We look for balanced, insightful articles that will help a reader decide if a particular game would appeal to his or her tastes. Your best guide is to read several of our recent reviews. And remember – the Website is called ArmchairGeneral; games reviewed should reflect a military theme or require players to utilize strategy and tactics. Military History Writers – We will consider proposals for concise articles that offer insight into military history, but we no longer publish lengthy battle accounts or analysis, military bibliography and the like. Traveling Through History – We will consider proposals for concise articles, accompanied by 6–12 quality photos, about historic sites that would be of interest to our readers. Remember, those readers are across America and around the world, so any subject needs to have sufficient appeal to a widely spread audience.
